Hierarchy of Blue: Authority is described as a sense of power to command and decide. It is reminiscent of great heads of state, infamous villains and heroes. It is spoken of as a desired human possession and at times, an overwhelming and insatiable sensation. Yet with great power comes great responsibility. Authority is not entirely about power, as itself is only a small component of the whole idea. The inquiry of composure, reason, elegance and courage play equal roles as power and altogether define the degree of authority. However, what if there was a symbol or thing that could sum up all of these ideals and key thoughts into one? Impossible. Not likely. Wrong. Still, the answer is quite simple and widely known to a seeing eye: blue.
